After any party it is always a good idea to let your guests know that you appreciated them showing up. A good way to do this is to offer a party favor to each and every guest that came. The same goes for a baby shower.

Although the baby shower is designed for the guests to help with the new arrival, it is common for the guests to also walk away with some baby shower party favors. These party favors can be designed according to whether or not the new addition is a girl or boy, if you have that information, or if the baby has already arrived.

If the new baby is a girl then it is common to have party favors that are pink or yellow. Whatever the color, it should be custom that a baby girl would wear that color. The party favor could consist of a picture of the baby in a pink frame along with some knitted baby booties or something to this effect. If the new baby is a boy then the baby shower party favor could also be a picture in a frame with the color of blue or baby blue. There could also be candy or cookies in the shape of a pacifier, bottle, booties, etc. to signify that this was a baby shower and the party favor would be a reminder of this. There are also unisex colors that can be used just in case the sex of the baby isn’t known.

The party favor will constantly remind the person of the baby shower and should be cute and memorable.
